.
Don’t worry this will be the last post of a car I see while I'm in Long Island.

wait you’re in Long Island and didn’t reach out?

You’re on Long Island? I had no idea. I knew it was NY, but no idea what part of NY.

Heard he’s getting the Lincoln Corsair next year

So he traded it in for a bigger boat?
Next step up is a Challenger, I assume.

Leaving early tomorrow morning.
I’ll be back up here at some point in the next few months.

So, have you seen the latest E34 M5 on BaT? They’re having a run on them these days - a white driver with the complete M-system wheels , high mileage but well cared for, and in Nashville...

You mean like in person?
Because yes I have.
I actually talked to the owner about it.
I just don’t have a place for it. Otherwise I would I have probably tried to buy it. I saw it in person and it was CLEAN.

I was wondering if that was the one you saw in Nashville. Seems like a nice price, too, though I haven’t gone through all of the BAT listing details yet.

I’ll be really interested to see what it goes for.

Me too. Guessing that he will get his ask. But who knows.

There was no history of the engine being opened and the rod bearings addressed. I would want something like that done. I think with that taken into consideration , I think it’s around a 15.5-16k car. I could be wrong, but we shall see. I really didn’t have a place for it, so I figured no point in negotiation .

$40k in service records but not the rod bearings?
Weird.

Yeah, we were talking and were both kind of surprised that there was no indication of them being done. Maybe there was an oil analysis done, but I don’t know.

Would have to pore over those records if I was bidding, and budget for it I guess.
I’ve bought enough cars for an unemployed guy for the moment.

He offered to send them to me, but since I didn’t get serious, I declined.
I had bought a car every time I got a job or a promotion. I decided to forgo the tradition this time. Figured a Rolex would mollify my need to buy something expensive; since I’m still looking for car, apparently not. I’m thinking I might need a DCT E90 M3 to daily, because, you know, reasons.

Well, I’m kinda hoping that I will be able to find a job quick enough to double dip for a while, which might enable me to make a case for upgrading the E46.
Need to find a job first though.

Job first for sure.
